About us

Sakura Copenhagen is a Japanese universe, founded by Nina Zurita in 2019. Our concept arose from a great passion for Japanese interiors and design.

We started with a webshop, but have since grown into a small family business, with a physical store on Gammel Kongevej.

Our passion

At Sakura Copenhagen, we travel to Japan ourselves and find our things at many different dealers. We attach great importance to good craftsmanship and quality when we find beautiful, unique finds for you. We love mixing smaller artisans with more established brands such as 1616/arita Japan, of which we are official dealers. We have also mixed our fine finds with our own design, and have become known for our hand-braided door mats and fans, among other things.
